| Organization |
Taichung Tun District Art Center is a subordinate institute of the Taichung County Cultural Affairs Bureau. The center has one director and one secretary presiding over promotion, performance and general affairs sections. There is one section head and several staff members in each section, while the accounting, civil ethics and personnel work is generally managed. The task division of the center is temporarily organized by the Taichung Tun District Art Center Preparatory Office and the official organization is under construction. |
| Environment |
The center is located on the intersection of Daxing Rd. and Changan E Rd., Taiping City. Originally, it was a Pingling military practice field and was provided by the military for the Taichung County Government for free. The center has a quiet and tasteful layout surrounded by trees, and the Dakeng Scenery Area is across Buzih Stream. We are the center for art development in Taichung Tun District. |
| Art Center Profile |
The park covers an area around 5 hectares with a total of 6700 pings of floor space. The center focuses on art performance and music and also considers art exhibition and cultural promotion. The main building has a multifunctional performance hall with 1200 seats, Experimental Theater with 210 seats, Aesthetics and Art Collection Center, Exhibition Center, Conference Hall, Administration Center, Restaurant and Arts and Crafts Department. The outdoor plan includes Sakura Ecological Square, Outdoor Theater and Scenery Bridge, etc. There are also first and second outdoor parking and one underground parking area. |

Taichung Tun District Art Center is an art building consisting of 3 stories and a basement. It is a building created from the concept of "Taichi-Central Philosophy" and "Art, Culture, Building". It is a musical and rhythmic building formed of an interlaced "circle" and "arch" , focusing on its simple nature and harmony. |
